"Hyaluronan chains, which can reach 2 x 10(4) kDa in size, are involved in ovulation, embryogenesis, protection of epithelial layer integrity, wound repair, and regeneration. Smaller polysaccharide fragments are inflammatory, immuno-stimulatory and angiogenic."
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16822580
2.) Als Gleitmittel zwischen Faszien und Muskeln
"hyaluronic acid (hyaluronan) which, like a hydraulic fluid, allows sliding between the fascia and neighboring muscle. "

https://playagainnow.com/blog/the-role- ... e-science/
3.) Fördert Kollagen Typ 1 (Fibrillar) Bildung, welche von FQs zerstört wird
"In an in vitro setting, the addition of hyaluronic acid to cultures of human dermal fibroblasts increases proliferation and synthesis of COL1A1, TIMP-1 and TGF-α, decreasing that of MMP-1."
http://docs.bvsalud.org/biblioref/2016/ ... ingles.pdf
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMP1#Function
4.) Fördert die Bildung neuer Blutgefäße
"Hyaluronic acid promotes angiogenesis by inducing RHAMM-TGFβ receptor interaction via CD44-PKCδ."
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22610405

Recent studies report that HA protects cartilage not only viscosupplementation but also by suppressing the production of OA-associated cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α37, and of ECM-degrading proteins such as MMP-1, -3, -1338, and ADAMTS439 in human chondrocytes. HMW-HA showed better anti-inflammation effects in experimental arthritis11, and IL-1β stimulated synovial fibroblasts12 and human osteoarthritic chondrocytes39.

7) Linderung von Tendonitis
Evidence indicates that hyaluronic acid (HA) mitigates tendinopathy.
In the present study, however, we found that regardless of their molecular weight, none of our HA preparations increased or decreased the viability or proliferation of tenocytes.

Hyaluronsäure bindet an Tryptophanrezeptoren:
"The conformation of the binding site is also dependent on tryptophan residues in the molecule... About 82% of the ability to bind to hyaluronic acid was also lost when about one third of the tryptophan residues had reacted with 2-nitrophenyl-sulphenyl chloride... The exactness of the conformation of the binding site implies an equally exact conformation of the polar groups on hyaluronic acid."

"Therefore, it is notable that Tph1(−/−) mice over-expressed genes related to hyaluronic acid synthesis and deposition."

Thus, for example, low molecular weight fragments of hyaluronan increase the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-12,

MMP12 may play a role in aneurysm formation[8] and studies in mice and humans suggest a role in the development of emphysema.[9]
